Ich find's witzig, dass die Leute das deutsche Wort "verboten" benutzen, um ihren Missmut darüber auszudrücken, dass das OSR auch ein Raum vieler cooler, kreativer und, ohmeingott, politisch progressiver Menschen ist. Dieser "Prince of Nothing" ist auch Teil derselben Baggage wie Venger Satanis, RPGPundit und Gabor Lux, oder? :D
Ich weiß nicht, ob das schon gepostet wurde, aber wer Zeit und Lust für ein Video-Essay hat, dem kann ich John Battles The Alt-Right in Tabletop Games empfehlen.

Naja, bis auf die Bob Bledsaw (Ist das nicht nur sein Sohn?) und M.A.Barker, bei denen die Personen, aber nicht die Spiele sehr kritisch zu bewerten sind, kann ich da aber vieles Unterschreiben, inklusive:

Was ich eine erfreulich konstruktive Art und Weise finde, mit dem von ihm als irgendwie als falsch empfundenem Artpunk umzugehen.  ;)

Naja, was dem einen sein "erfreulich konstruktiv" ist dem anderen sein "intolerant und aufgeblasen".

Mit ein bisschen mehr Kontext klingt das nicht mehr so gut, finde ich.

Abseits davon, dass der Pathos schon ein bisschen lächerlich ist, wird hier auch einfach gesagt: "Ärgert euch nicht über diese 'sickle-smiled usurpers with their pink hairs and rubbing hands and shifty eyes' (rubbing hands und shifty eyes ist wahrscheinlich ein antisemitischer dog whistle, s. The Happy Merchant), sondern schnappt euch die jungen Leute, die neu im Hobby sind und ideologisiert sie, damit die nicht wie das obige stereotype Feindbild werden.
