Es gibt ein Interview mit Free League-Leuten auf ENWorld. Schwerpunktmäßig geht es um die 5e-Variante von Symbaroum, aber im letzten Absatz gibt es auch ein paar Andeutungen zu Year Zero-Produkten:

--- Zitat ---In regards to Symbaroum, we are working on a boxed starter set which will hopefully hit the shelves before the turn of the year; also, episode five in the Throne of Thorns series is currently being written, set to launch next year. Other than that we are in the midst of running a Kickstarter for a new version of the classic TTRPG Twilight: 2000, and there are several releases planned for the second part of 2020 – including a boxed starter set and a cinematic scenario for the Alien RPG, and a massive adventure supplement for our sci-fi RPG Coriolis.

Free League haben gerade via Facebook verkündet, dass es einen englischen Schnellstarter für ihr erstes Rollenspiel "Brimstone Winter" (Svavelvinter) gibt.

--- Zitat von: Free League --- We have received some questions about our very first RPGs, before Mutant: Year Zero (released in 2014). Free League's first RPG was a fantasy game called Svavelvinter (Brimstone Winter), released in 2012. Based on The Fifth Conflux series of fantasy novels by Erik Granström (now our lead setting writer for Forbidden Lands), Svavelvinter is a peculiar style of Renaissance/Babylonian fantasy RPG.

The full game is only available in Swedish (and long since out of print), but as it happens we did create an English QUICKSTART PDF, including a full scenario and pre-generated characters. We have now dug it up from our dusty old digital vaults, and you can find it here:

https://frialigan.se/…/…/06/Svavelvinter_quick-start_set.zip

Ruleswise the main sources of inspiration for Svavelvinter were the story-driven games of the late '00s, like Burning Wheel, FATE, Solar System, and Lady Blackbird. You can also see the beginnings of the Year Zero Engine here, for example it's also a D6 dice pool system and damage (called "misery") is tracked directly on the core attributes (called "bloods").

The game setting is called Tracoria, a merchant empire in a fictional renaissance world. The four main islands are populated by a number of peoples and cultures that have tried to dominate each other throughout history. The island Paratorna is milking the neighbouring isles for their riches, spurred by a religion that adores money and commerce. When the profitable Paratornian sulphur monopoly collapses, many of their neighbours see an opportunity to lift the yoke, especially since the mythical “Fifth Conflux” is approaching, a point of destiny in time and space that is expected to reshape the world.

The Tracorian world is similar to Renaissance Europe of the early 16th Century, but with notable differences. It is an animistic world where living clouds, mountains and winds coexist with dragons and other mythical beasts. The entire world shows many signs of having been put in place according to some divine plan, but the actual work has been delegated to befuddled servants. In this way reality is a flawed and poor implementation of a divine design. Magic works, but rarely quite as expected. Magicians are feared but also suspected of interfering with the divine plans even further and are often hounded by clerics. Most powerful of all are those who know “The High Speech”, the forbidden words of the gods’ that command creation and reality.

Sources of inspiration for the Tracorian world include the Italian Renaissance, the Roman Republic and our current commercially focused age. The polytheistic religions are borrowed from old Mesopotamia.
