Es wurde irgendwo im Smalltalk schon erwähnt, aber einen Thread dazu habe ich nicht gefunden.

Kann mir jemand erklären, was das ist? Ich habe alles mögliche dazu gelesen - und ich verstehe es einfach nicht. Ich kann mir nix drunter vorstellen. Wie "ernst" ist das? Wie sehr wird das Setting dafür gebogen?

Acquisitions Incorporated ist eine (gestreamte) Runde der Penny Arcade Macher und ein paar Freunden. Zu Beginn wurde es von Chris Perkins als Spielleitung betreut und seit kurzem von Jeremy Crawford. Die Geschichten der Acq Inc spielen in den Forgotten Realms und haben viele humoristische Elemente, sind aber letztlich schon ernstzunehmende D&D Runden.

Inhaltlich ist es so eine Art "Abenteurer-Gilde" amerikanischen Ursprungs (inklusive "franchising" etc.). Das Buch sammelt und konzentriert die "lore" um Aqc Inc herum und soll durch entsprechende Regelzusätze ermöglichen eine stilistisch-ähnliche Runde zu den Livestreams zu spielen.

Bestimmte Elemente der Acq Inc Runde sind meinem Verständnis auch "ganz richtig echter Kiesow-mäßiger Kanon" insofern als, dass Omin Dran im Roman "Death Masks" von Ed Greendwood Erwähnung findet.

Ich hab ein bisschen in dem Buch geblättert, weil es mir über dndbeyond gesharet wurde.
Ist ganz lustig, wenn man im Berufsleben schon mal "synergien bilden" gehört hat und ich habe ein paar nette Ideen für eine Kampange bekommen. (Stichwort: Tyrgalle Trade Guild aus Malazan)
Aber was mich am meisten an dem Buch stört: Nirgends wird gesagt, was Acquisitions Inc eigentlich macht. Nur das es eine Adventure Business ist, aber nicht was das beinhaltet.
Da muss man wohl den Stream für gesehen haben oder so... ;-/

Das wäre so einfach zu lösen gewesen, wenn man doch nur einfach eine In-Buch Werbung gemacht hätte wie die, die mir gerade so spontan dazu einfällt:

Ja, das ist wohl so. Auch nach den ganzen Hinweisen hier: bei mir entsteht da einfach nix im Kopf. Wirklich nix. Durch die Streams hab ich mal durchgezappt, bringt auch nix. Am Stück kann ich mir sowas nicht geben. Dann bin ich wohl raus aus dem Thema.  8)
