Case:
Um das Thema Kauf via DriveThruRPG (DTRPG) aus dem Regelwerk-Thread zu holen, anbei ein paar Infos zur Lage.

DTRPG wickelt das EU Geschäft durch den Druckdienstleister Lightning Source ab. Diese sitzen in England und somit fällt der Kauf eines Produktes dort in den BREXIT Fallout.

Aktuell ist es so:

An update on our book shipments to EU destinations - we have had some recent standard shipments once again be assessed delivery charges by postal services, so we have re-instated a warning during checkout to that effect. The current notice and checkout for customers is:

*WARNING: Books destined for the EU are printed and shipped from the U.K. and may experience delivery delays due to Brexit.
 
Orders shipped “Premium” are shipped via UPS and have their customs duties prepaid. The duty is included in the Premium shipping charge you see below, and you will not have any extra charges on delivery.
 
Orders shipped “Standard” where the value is under 22€ should not face any duties when delivered by your postal carrier.
 
Orders shipped “Standard” where the value is over 22€ may incur duties and customs processing charges that you will need to pay your postal carrier before delivery. The duty is typically 5-10% of the order value plus the processing charge is typically around 13€. The higher the value of your shipment, the more likely your postal service will assess these charges. You may also face the requirement to visit your postal service office to pay the charges and pick up the delivery. We therefore recommend Premium shipping for higher value orders.
 
Standard shipping cannot be tracked. Lost or undelivered packages may be replaced only after 45 days have passed.*

We do not expect this to change again until:
1. Our print partner Lightning Source opens up more printing within the EU (they are currently expanding a facility in France).
2. New EU rules go into effect this July which will likely change this customs/duties/VAT process for book shipments into the EU.

Zumindest wissen wir jetzt das eine Druckerei in der EU in der mache ist

Geg:
Sehe ich es dann richtig, das es aktuell keine Chance gibt ein gedrucktes Exemplar zu bekommen?

Case:
Du meinst vom Regelwerk? Jein: wir haben einen Schnitzer ausgemerzt, der uns dankenswerterweise gemeldet wurde. Nun müssen wir einmal ein Probeexemplar ordern und können das Print on Demand dann wieder live schalten.
