Wie generiert Ihr SC-Attribute? (in OSR-Systemen) / Charaktere mit schlechten Werten spielen?

Völlig richtig. Hab mir auch gedacht, dass es in der Diskussion ein schlechtes Beispiel ist, aber es gibt mir da ja um das Spielprinzip. ^-^

Also noch bekannter ist wohl das hier: B/X, aber interessanterweise nicht in Basic.
Auf Seite X51 steht:

SAVING VS. ABILITIES (OPTIONAL): The DM may want to base a character's chance of doing something on his or her ability ratings (Strength, etc.). The DM may give a bonus or penalty to the roll, depend-ing on the difficulty of the action (-4 for a simple task, +4 for a dif ficult one, etc.). It is suggested that a roll of 1 always succeed and a roll of 20 always fail.
