Vash the stampede:

Nin:
Mirrors....

--- Zitat von: Eddy Webb: ---Once in a while, we want to put something important out, and we take special care to make sure we're saying what we mean. But after you stare at something over and over, sometimes you think you're saying what you mean, but when it gets out there, people interpret it in a very different way.

This has been the case with the Afterwords in the Mage Chronicler's Guide and WoD: Mirrors, as well as some additional ones coming out in future books. We wanted to give various developers a chance to say a final word on their perspectives on our original business model: a fixed schedule of regular releases of hardcover books. This was intended as a way of saying goodbye to the way we've done business over the past couple of decades as we move into a new way of putting out products, but many people have come to us with concerns that this meant their favorite games were going away.

This is not the case.

We'll have a lot more information coming out in the next few months, but I wanted to take a moment and make sure that I assure people that the changing of how we deliver games doesn't mean the game lines are going away. Things are changing in ways that we think are incredibly exciting, and some of those changes are pretty radical from the way we've done business before, but we're certainly not "pulling the plug" on our tabletop publishing products - as you'll see when we release our PDF schedule in early August.

Please feel free to pass this on to your friends or point people to this post in forum threads. We'll also be available at GenCon to talk to people as well as at the Grand Masquerade. You can also leave a comment on this blog post, and if it's something we can answer, we'll try to do so.

Teylen:
