[Gran Torino] Dirty Harry ist zurück...

Gutes Schauspiel, solides Drehbuch...und ein angemessen kitschfreies Ende! Ja, US-Kino kann auch anders...
Um mich diveresn Vorschreibern anzuschließen: sehr zu empfehlen, da eine der wenigen Perlen des Kinojahres 2009.

Pyromancer:
So, ich hab es auch gerade noch ins Kino geschafft, so lange der noch läuft. Eastwood als wütender alter Mann ist einfach klasse! Wie der knurrt! Und ein paar wirklich gute Lacher gibt es auch.
Das Ende kam mir aber irgendwie bekannt vor. In welchem Film läuft das denn noch so?

Gerade auf DVD geschaut: Hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Singt CE das Lied im Abspann selbst?

Clint Eastwood has written many of the soundtracks to his movies over the year. He is an accomplished jazz musician as well as a superstar actor. One of his works you must hear is ‘Tribute’, the theme song from Grand Torino.


Eastwood has a Tom Waits feel to his voice as he sings the first part of the song before Jamie Cullum takes over the vocals.

Eastwood and Cullum wrote ‘Tribute’ with Clint’s son Kyle and Michael Stevens.

Clint Eastwood has composed a lot of the music from his movies over the years including ‘Mystic River’, ‘Grace Is Gone’, ‘Million Dollar Baby’, ‘Space Cowboys’ and ‘The Bridges of Madison County’.

‘Tribute’ from Gran Torino was nominated for a Golden Globe.
