[WoD] Grenzenloser Smalltalk

Was wuerdest du den als nuetzlich empfinden beziehungsweise suchen?
Ansonsten sehe ich keinen direkten Anlass cWoD und nWoD so ganz allgemein zu mischen. ^^;
Wobei ich mit Buechern die nur halbgare Stichworte geben nix bzw. wenig anfangen kann (Wie Strange, Dead Love).
La Cipolla:
Die nWoD handelt inzwischen eigentlich fast alles (besser) ab. Was ich eventuell für Inspirationen interessant finden würde, sind die Sachen, die entweder vom Feeling her oWoD-"exklusiv" sind (Changeling the Dreaming) oder recht spät herausgekommen und damit schon näher am nWoD-Feeling dran sind (allen voran Orpheus). Auch die Dark Ages Sachen sind in der nWoD praktisch gar nicht beschrieben, von einigen spezifischen Ausnahmen wie Rom mal abgesehen. Und letztendlich gibt es halt so quirky Sachen wie Gypsies, ob man die haben will, ist aber natürlich eine andere Frage. ;D
Verallgemeinert würde ich allerdings sagen, jedes oWoD-Buch kann Anregungen für die nWoD geben, aber eigentlich sind die sehr zahlreichen nWoD-Quellenbücher für diesen Zweck im Durchschnitt besser -- willst du dir die Masse wirklich antun?

Am 21 Mai, also vor etwa 8 Tagen, tat White Wolf kund das man sich mit den Fans zusammensetzen wollte, Zwecks Besprechung der Lage rund um (den Companion) Kickstarter.

Meanwhile, the Deluxe files are with the printer- I think I put in every change folks threw at me last week before the deadline to get it to press fell. The PoD files are also up for approval with the PoD printer. Once we pass those technical specs, we only have to see a printed copy and the PoDs will be ready to go. Our plan is to get all the reward PoDs printed and sent to the shipper to be signed by Justin in their warehouse (in the case of the V20 Companion PoDs) and then shipped with your Deluxe editions.

Das war zwar Backer exklusive, allerdings gab es am Mittwoch oder so einen Tweet von Justin der alle Fans dazu einlud.
Weil meine Zeit-Umrechnung einen kleinen Aussetzer nahm dachte ich das Meeting sei um 17 Uhr, belgischer Zeit, anstelle von 16 Uhr, und kam darueber hinaus noch ~10 bis 15 Minuten zu spaet. So wurde das Recording knapp 5-10 Minuten nach meinem einloggen eingestellt. Dennoch waren sie so nett noch was zum labern dazubleiben.

* Uebersetzung der V20 [Core]
Ein portugiesisch sprechender Fan fragte nach den Chancen einer Uebersetzung.
Es wurde geantwortet das Uebersetzungen in's franzoesische sowie italienische in der Verhandlung / Mache waeren.
Ich erkundigte mich daher wie es den mit einer deutschen Uebersetzung aussieht. Als Antwort kam das man dort mit Leuten in Kontakt stand, mit denen man frueher gut zusammen gearbeitet haette, das dieser Kontakt jedoch unvermittelt, von deutscher Seite aus, abgerissen waere.
Sie zeigten sich durchaus interessiert weitere Ansprechpartner fuer eine Uebersetzung vermittelt zu bekommen.
* Titel & die Unabhaengigen / Clans
Es wurde sich nach den Titel fuer die Unabhaengigen sowie die Clans erkundigt. (unter anderem von mir)
Als Antwort ist man wohl mit CCP in Verhandlung ein entsprechendes zusaetzliches Buch releasen zu duerfen.
Zudem ist man fuer Inspiration fuer weitere Splats zu haben.
Das Meeting wird auch fuer Umme als Podcast bei DriveThru runterzuladen sein.

Meeting Notes
Rich dives right into serious business — no jocularity this week.
CCP is moving offices from Stone Mountain to Decatur this weekend. As such, we’ll be without email from Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon or so. The website should be unaffected (aside from the wikis, which are locked during the move).
Rich asked me for some contact information for editing Children of the Revolution.
We talk a lot about some back-end business stuff that we can’t announce publicly yet.
