Könnt ihr aus dem KS (und anderer Infos - Patreon?) abschätzen, inwieweit sich die Regeln bei Cortex Prime zu den Vorgängern ändern?

Wenn du dich für Cortex+ interessierst, dann wird der Kauf nach den bisherigen Infos ein "No-Brainer", also ein Pflichtkauf. In einem Kommentar im KS hat Herr Banks das gut beschrieben, Hervorhebung von mir:

"Cortex Prime differs a lot from the Hacker's Guide because that was essentially a book of essays written by a lot of really creative people, with three system reference docs at the back that mostly gave you the basics for three flavors of Cortex Plus.

Prime instead takes all of those rules, all the variations, all the options, and even more that weren't in previous games, and presents them as logical expansions of central concepts. So, for example, distinctions at their heart are a descriptive trait with a d4/d8 trigger, like in Leverage and Marvel, but they can be expanded to include more triggers, like with Firefly, or even given a die rating of their own, like with Smallville. But they're all still distinctions. There's no "drama" or "action" any more, just base concepts and expanded versions of each, ready to be used in various combinations."

Ich bin mir nicht sicher, aber es kann sein, dass noch vor Ablauf des KS ein SRD für Cortex Prime auch an die Backer geht.

Ich habe überlegt, den Patreon zu unterstützen um an das Material zu kommen, aber ich bin immer noch nicht davon überzeugt, dass ich das Vorgehen "du darfst Beta-Zahler sein, wenn du dafür bezahlst" gut finde.

So gerne hätte ich für Cortex+ eine deutsche Fassung.

...uuund gefundet. Nach etwa 36 Stunden ist das Finanzierungsziel von 30.000 $ erreicht. Jetzt geht es noch um die Stretch Goals. Bis spätestens Mittwoch sollen außerdem die Backer eine Vorabversion des SRD erhalten.

Der Nârr:
Das vorläufige SRD ist den Backern jetzt bereitgestellt worden.

Ich bin *sehr* angetan. Das ist wirklich eine Wohltat und sehr angenehm zu lesen - ich mag den knappen, präzisen Stil.

Ich hoffe, dass das Game Handbook dann aber auch eine ausführliche Liste an Distinctions inkl. Triggern enthalten wird.
