* ARTWORK
Artwork and cartography was ordered before Christmas.
* PAGE BALANCING
The manuscript is laid out and back with Wiggy with page balancing. In layman's terms that means ensuring the column text balances on every page and that all white space is eliminated. Sometimes a little has to be cut to fit a given chapter, other times new material has to be added. Overall, you've gained maybe two pages of material previously not in the manuscript.
* PAGE COUNT
We can confirm the final page count will be 192 pages.

The book is back with Rob for more layout work, while a copy has been sent to our proofreader to pick up those pesky typos.
*ADVENTURE
Wiggy is working hard on the adventure -- NF1: The Curse of the Sand Lord.

The adventure is written and off for editing. It's full title is NF1: The Curse of the Sand Lord.
* MANUSCRIPT
It's been through two more rounds of proofreading. Wiggy will soon be correcting the pesky typos.
* CARTOGRAPHY
The new map is coming along nicely, and should be a real doozy. A different style to the Rassilon map, but it's a different cartographer (both in and out of game).

These have been assembled and the four Edges added to the four extra bookmarks. Should be going to print soon.

Rob has the proofs from the printers in his hands. Assuming it passes muster, full production begins! Due to the vagaries of ocean travel we can't give an exact date it'll hit the warehouse until the ship docks, but we'll keep you posted as we know more.

Mal eine Frage zu Entdecken/Verbergen (Detect/Conceal):
Wie soll man sich das Verbergen vorstellen?
Entdecken spricht man auf eine Person (oder mit Erschwernis auf bis zu 4 Personen).
Wir haben Verbergen einmal so angewandt, das man eine Person die sich versteckt verzaubert - damit ist der Zauber gleich stark oder besser als Unsichtbarkeit.
Als ich dann noch mal in Ruhe in die Regeln geschaut und nachgedacht habe, hab ich gedacht, dass man es vllt auf diejenigen, vor denen man etwas verbergen will, sprechen soll. Aber das passt auch nicht zu der Beschreibung von Arkanes verbergen aus dem GE/GER.
Wie wird der Spruch bei euch geregelt?

Offizielle Regelung:
Verbergen ist nicht Unsichtbarkeit!
Das Objekt, der Effekt oder die Kreatur ist immer noch sichtbar (wenn überhaupt), nur ist sie für den Zauber Entdecken nur nach vergleichender Probe wahrnehmbar.
In Hellfrost hat Entdecken eine völlig flexible Ausprägung, die vom Magier im Moment des Zauberns gewählt wird. Es gibt als so Entdecken von Dämonen, ... von Äpfeln, ... von Meuchelmördern, ... von Geheimtüren, ... von Enno dem Ehrlichen, ... vom magischen Index, ... vom Herz des Winters etc pp ad nauseam. Da sind der Phantasie keine Grenzen gesetzt, denn die Ausprägungen können esoterischer, philosophischer, magischer oder physischer Natur sein.
Offiziell hat Verbergen die gleichen Ausprägungen, und kann nur durch ein entsprechendes Entdecken durchschaut werden. Da das sich aber als unpraktisch erwies, wurde es später "inoffiziell" und stillschweigend fallengelassen. Nun wirkt Verbergen gegen jede Art von Entdecken.
