Intrigen (und Politik ist zu guten Teilen nichts anderes) gab es auch bei den Menschen schon immer - auch bei den "Guten". Der Übergang zu echter Tyrannei und Gewaltherrschaft ist da naturgemäss eher fliessend und nicht schön schwarz und weiß.
Allerdings ist TOR/DER mit einem klaren Fokus entworfen: Aufrechte Helden spielen, deren Abenteuer mit allen Versuchungen eine Probe ihrer Integrität sind. Es ist erklärtes Ziel, das Handeln und den Ethos der bekannten Protagonisten aus den Büchern regeltechnisch abzubilden. Das Regelwerk ist ganz ausdrücklich nicht dafür gedacht, die gesamte Komplexität der Spielwelt Mitttelerde zu simulieren oder halbwegs darzustellen. Es ist nur dafür gedacht einen Teilaspekt hiervon - nämlich die o.g. Faktoren - darzustellen (das dafür m.E. sehr gut). Wer mehr möchte, muss sich selber was überlegen.

In der kommenden OM-Ausgabe wird es übrigens mehrere Artikel (mit Lösungsvorschlägen) zu diesem Thema geben :)

Hallo zusammen,
wie man sehen kann, bin ich völlig neu hier und jetzt nutze ich mal meinen ersten Post für eine dumme Frage ;) nachdem ich mich durch die Diskussion hier durchgearbeitet habe, habe ich mich (erstmal nur zum reinlesen) zum Download der englischen PDF des Grundregelwerks entschlossen. Wie haben diejenigen hier, die es anschließend ausgedruckt haben, das geregelt? über 300 Seiten in farbe wird doch etwas teuer und in schwarz-weiß hab ich es bisher nicht lesbar hinbekommen...
In der Hoffnung mich bald auch inhaltlich am Gespräch beteiligen zu können, ^^

Fett. Ich würde ja hoffen,  dass Uhrwerk die überarbeitet Fassung bringt. Dann gäbe es auch ein ordentliches Grundregelwerk auf deutsch.
