Ok, wenn du Settingtreu sein willst dann zählt die Resistance und er kriegt halt den halben Schaden der dazu nötig wäre ihn auf 0 zu bringen (wenn er versagt / 11 bei Erfolg).

Was steht denn da genau?

Normalerweise würde ich sagen dass "auf 0 TP setzen" kein Schaden ist und auch keinen Schadenstyp haben sollte.
Wenn es Schaden seien soll müsste da stehen "Schaden in höhe der momentanen TP".

Da ich Spieler von Rappan Athuk bin, kann ich leider nicht nachsehen.

Der Bodak Effekt in Rappan Athuk:
(Klicke zum Anzeigen/Verstecken)Gaze of Orcus. If a creature starts its turn within 30 ft. of the bodak and
the two of them can see each other, the bodak can force the creature to
make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw if the bodak isn’t incapacitated.
On a failed save, the creature drops to 0 hit points, unless it is immune
to the frightened condition. On a success, the creature takes 22 (4d10)
psychic damage. A creature that is slain by the bodak’s Gaze rises as a
bodak 24 hours later unless restored to life by magical means.

Danke. Das sieht eher nach Herzkasper aus als nach nekrotischen Schaden.
