Im SMW Shop sind die PDFs "ausverkauft". Weiß jemand woher man die beziehen kann? Eine Nachfrage bei SMW über Social Media brachte für mich keine Klärung, eher mehr Verwirrung.

Genaue Antwort kann ich Dir leider nicht geben, aber SMV ist wohl grade dabei, ihren Shop zu überarbeiten. Was, wann, wieso und wie lange haben die aber nicht kommuniziert.

As Marko said last week, we've been working extra hours to push everything towards completion. So here is an update on everything we have in store for you.

VINCIT OMNIA VERITAS our secret February special announcement is in print as we speak. We initially planned the release at the end of February, but now have to move it by a month to be in line with the launch of the new Website. The wait will be worth it as it’s one of the dearest projects we had in production for quite some time. More on the updated release schedule below.

ARTIFACTS is a wrap. 240 pages is the final page count for this massive addition to the KatharSys game system. It will feature amazing expansions to character creation and group interactions, survival mechanics, tons of new equipment and gear, and an indepth look at economy and energy management. The book further explores the hunt for Psychonauts and the harvest of their remains, followed by a chapter dedicated to powerful Bygone artifacts and technology, as well as a final chapter exposing the art of Memetics and how the Sleepers deploy their techniques of manipulation and mind control.
We’re currently adding 3 more images to the book, that were needed due to the increased page count, and finalizing the last parts of the layout. Our goal is to ship the book off to our Printer in the 3rd week of February.

TROIKA is a free DLC that will expand on the new materials presented in ARTIFACTS. It’s already written and illustrated and the release will be in tandem with the launch of the new website and the release of ARTIFACTS. We don’t want to spoil too much, but it’s gonna be a bomb.
JUSTITIAN will be announced for Preorder with the launch of the new Website. We can’t give you a final release estimate at this point, since Marko has been bogged down with all the other projects he had to oversee in the past months and is only now resuming his work on the two books. What’s the status you ask? BOOK 2 is nearly finished with only about 20 pages left to be written, as well as a clean up pass on some of the illustrations. BOOK 1 is about 60% done, with a few construction sites left in terms of illustration and layout.

DEGENESIS.COM Relaunch. This is a big one for us. If you followed our Q&A’s in the past you know that we’ve been working on new ways to distribute Degenesis, and make the game more accessible as well as available. Throughout 2019 we collaborated extensively with several offsite partners, but we’ve hit major roadblocks along the way. Either, we couldn’t get the technology to work, or the results weren’t satisfying enough. In December, after several failed prototypes, we finally found a new partner that was able to reach the desired quality of presentation and User Experience that we hoped for, and we were able to enter production. For the past 2 months we’ve been working around the clock with our new partner to prepare the launch of the new website, which will feature a never seen before presentation of an RPG in digital space. You think we’re kidding? Think back! We’ve done Trailers. We’ve raised the production value of RPG books as a whole. We slammed more art into our products than several major publishers combined. If you think the relaunch will be just another website, you’re wrong. It will be the ultimate testament to Degenesis.

TIMEFRAME: Internally, all of our clocks are aligned around the relaunch of DEGENESIS.COM. We’re currently aiming to go live within the first 2 weeks of April. Additionally all Updates, Preorders, New Releases and Products will go live simultaneously. If you need time to save up some money, best do it now.

To make it clear: VINCIT OMNIA VERITAS, ARTIFACTS, TROIKA & JUSTITIAN will all be either available for order or preorder, the day DEGENESIS.COM opens its gates.

Many of you have been wondering why the PDFs are listed as sold out on the shop, and that’s a fair question. The makeover of the website will also come with a huge change in the way we distribute the PDFs: with our new FREE TO PLAY system, all of our previously published PDFs will be available for free, to everyone. This has been the major cornerstone to the change of our business model, ever since we started developing the new website, so in order to make this fair and to avoid having some people purchasing the PDFs a few weeks before they are available for free, we decided to remove them from the shop.

We know how frustrating it is to be kept in the dark, but sometimes we need to keep working on our projects for a certain period of time before we can release something meaningful. Nobody wants to look at half-baked stuff and read vague announcements. We are sorry that we can’t unveil more at this point but the wait is almost over. However, we do believe that it is for the best.
So please friends, bear with us a little bit longer, because we are convinced you’ll understand why we took the extra time needed to polish our projects, when you lay your eyes upon them.
