Die Implements gehen wieder zurueck zum Urzustand (in einem Update wurden die mal auf "klassenspezifisch" geaendert (Ausnahme: Arcane Implement Proficiency fuer Arcane Characters)

Die Attributsveraenderungen der Rassen wurden seit Erscheinen des PHB3 gefordert, da die alten Rassen jetzt "nicht genuegend Optionen" haben

Ich glaube bevor ich ne neue Runde starten würde, muss erst das Kompendium erscheinen sowie die passenden Builder Updates. Wie soll ich nem Spieler den nachträglich erklären, dass sein alter Char auf einmal ganz andere Start Bedingungen bekommen hat.

Two quick points (I'll be brief since I've already made them before):

a) PHB is becoming more and more obsolete. Now you can rip out: (1) the whole "feats" chapter; (2) all the wizard encounter powers; and (3) racial stat boosts. At least someone hinted at GenCon that PHB will be getting reprinted with errata (that'll be another $35, please).

b) More evidence that when WotC says that this is 100% compatible with current releases (and isn't 4.5E), they're at least being disingenuous. It seems like this new material is only compatible once they've written over all the old material. Make no mistake, folks—this is salvaging at its best. I think WotC is starting to realize that some significant design mistakes were made with 4E (see here for some of my thoughts on the topic), and now they're scrambling to "save" this edition so they don't have to shorten up the development cycle (and lose brand loyalty in the process).

Anyway, just my thoughts. I'm sure people will disagree with them. Discuss!

Haha... also sind die Essentials nur mit dem neu aufgelegten und geupdateten PHB kompatibel, während man mit dem bisherigen PHB nichts mehr anfangen kann. Sehr amüsant. Genau was ich von den Essentials erwartet habe. Man kann sie verwenden, aber natürlich nur, wenn man all seine bisherigen Regelbücher neu kauft. Wenn das keine 4.5-Edition ist, dann weiß ich auch nicht...

Wann sollen die Essentials erscheinen? Und wann wird es das neue geupdatete, Essentials-kompatible PHB dazu geben?
