Wobei das ganze doch sehr aufschlussreich ist.
Hier wird mal wieder deutlich das Kickstarter nun mal keine Vorbestellplattform ist und es keine Garantie gibt das man bekommt was man will, in der Form in der man es will.
Gerade in dem Abschnitt in dem der Refund erwähnt wird sind Aussage und Irrtum ja klar zu sehen: "I feel entitled to a refund..". Tja, Pustekuchen.

Ansonsten machen einige Aussagen, zumindest für mich, keinen Sinn. Also entweder arbeitet er immer darauf hin mit einem regulären Pubisher zu arbeiten und dann Standard-Vertriebswege zu nutzen oder Kickstartert und stümpert rum. Beides bekomme ich irgendwie nicht unter einen Hut.
Ansonsten klingt das zu Democracy ungefähr so als wäre das ganze Spiel auch schon vor dem Kickstarter fertig gewesen und die Stretch Goals haben ihm die Tour versaut. Aber 1,5 Jahre für einen Satz Meeples?

Rechtlich gesehen trifft MRH dort einfach falschaussagen.
Man hat durchaus ein Anrecht auf ein Refund wenn das Produkt nicht geliefert wird. Die Herausforderung besteht jedoch daraus es durchzusetzen.
Hinsichtlich des Brettspiels, meine Vermutung nach hat er betreffs des Fertigstellungsgrad schlicht gelogen.

No matter what I do, what I say, how much money I spend, who I hire, or how often we update they just continue to attack and troll, usually without a whole of reference to reality but with a tremendous amount of trembling, impotent rage. Our last update made it VERY clear where we are at: "we are expecting in a few weeks the the 'Animal Meeples' that the backers agreed to wait for", just as I have said here today a dozen times. The KS updates are all public and can all be referenced, so it will be clear to any who care to check that these repeated questions aren't valid, and that indeed, this is all a show.
What happened here today was simply another example of their well organized troll campaign to kill me off as a creator, and I suspect sometimes, as a person. Cuz thats just what trolls do. You can't declare victory until you utterly crush someone.
Here is the irony, I am not someone who deals well with being hated, which is why I never became a politician (though I love politics) and why I prefer to live far, far away from certain kinds of gamers. This is ONE of the many reasons why things got as screwed up as they did on the KS, the more they hated on me, the more they sent me hate mail, the more I... disengaged.
It's why I had to hire a guy named Milton to do Democracy, I had just completely shut down in terms of making updates. Being ill certainly didn't help either.
You reap what sow boys. Today you proved that if nothing else.

Hmmm ... ich bin nun wirklich kein Psychologe, aber der gute MRH scheint ein ernsthaftes Problem zu haben.Wirklichkeitsverlust. Verfolgungswahn. Oder was auch immer.

Wenn man sich auf der englischen Wikipedia mal seinen Lebenslauf durchliest, dann ist wohl nach seinem Abgang aus der Rollenspielbranche einiges schief gelaufen. Wahrscheinlich sieht er sich immer noch als "der" geniale Designer der World of Darkness und kommt nicht drüber weg, dass das Schnee von gestern ist.

Jetzt versucht er verzweifelt da anzuknüpfen, wo er früher Erfolg hatte, aber nichts funktioniert mehr. Offensichtlich ausgebrannt. Er sollte wohl besser ehrlich sein und die Kohle and die Backer zurückgeben -- oder sich jemand anderen suchen, der das Projekt durchzieht und nur seinen Namen draufsetzen, so zu Marketingzwecken. Aber dazu müsste er sich erst mal eingestehen, dass er selbst momentan ziemlich fertig ist. Sieht mir schon sehr nach Teufelskreis aus ...
