* Introducing supernatural gifts—abilities that set your character apart from the common throng. Mechanically similar to character races, each one gives your character a variety of traits.
* Select one of the new races for your character—such mythic peoples as the leonin or a satyr.
* New subclasses include the Bard’s College of Eloquence, masters of oratory; and the Paladin’s Oath of Heroism, an affirmation of destiny laid out for you by divine providence.
* Encounter mythic monsters, creatures whose power and renown are such that their names are truly living myths. More than simply legendary, these creatures have abilities that will create a challenge fit for the gods.
* Wield god-weapons, signature items of the gods that allow your character to stand apart from other heroes. These can be a gift from your deity or perhaps you boldly stole it from them in a bid for ultimate power.

Ich bin gespannt. Ravnica hat mir sehr gefallen, daher gebe ich der nächsten MtG-Welt gerne ebenfalls eine Chance.

Das alternative Cover ist ja mal ein Brett    . Schade das ich zu sehr auf passende Buchrücken im Regal abfahre als das ich mir die holen könnte

Sollte das Ding auf deutsch kommen, kauf ichs mir ... ich hab inzwischen so viel D&D5 Zeug, dass ich es mir "leisten" kann auf deutsche Versionen zu warten

Witzigerweise gefällt mir das normale Cover auch deutlich besser als das Variant (wobei letzteres auch schon echt gut aussieht)

Ja, nachdem Ravnica mich überhaupt nicht angesprochen hat, klingt das hier wesentlich interessanter.

Die Alt Covers sind meines Wissens immer exklusiv für "Hobby Stores" gedacht, habe sie aber schon öfter auch bei auf Fantasy-Kram spezialisierten Online-Händlern gesehen. Ich vermute bei Amazonien wird man sie aber nicht direkt finden.

Spährenmeister hat die glaub ich bisher immer reingekriegt  . In seinem Thread meinte Roland er kriegt das sobalds übern Großhandel geben soll.

Ich finde ja beide Stile schön, und dass sich das Monster links plastisch in den Hintergrund erstreck, finde ich toll, aber rechts gewinnt trotzdem in der Komposition

Auf Theros freue ich mich, seitdem die Planeshift-Sachen angefangen haben. Nachdem dann für MtG "Theros Beyond Death" angekündigt war, dachte ich mir: jetzt oder nie... und hatte schon Angst, es wird nie... (Jetzt noch Eldraine als D&D Setting und ich bin glücklich).

Ich denke wie bei Ravnica, werden wir hier Mal wieder ne Lizenzkrücke haben, da es ja zu M:TG zählt und demnach nicht übersetzt wird.
Schade und sehr unsympathisch.

Wird das der Versuch Matt Colville nicht mit seinen Boss- und Solo-Monstern davon ziehen zu lassen?

Eh, das ist ja sogar, was die Regelerweiterungen angeht, ziemlich nah bei Odyssey of the Dragonlords. o.ô Spricht wahrscheinlich dafür, dass beide verstanden haben, was an dem Griechenkram reizt. Und vielleicht gar nicht mal so schlecht, dann kann man praktisch zwischen einem guten Kampagnenbuch mit ausgedehntem Setting und einem hoffentlich guten Setting-Buch (mit ausgedehntem Abenteuer wie in Ravnica?) wählen. Und man kann wählen, ob man die Magic-Connection möchte. Oder einfach beides verbinden. Ich werde sicher mal reingucken, aber prophezeie (höhö) schon mal vorsichtig, dass mir die Herangehensweise der Dragonlords besser gefällt. Scheint mir auch näher an Mythologie & D&D zu sein.

Leider wurde nun bestätigt das tatsächlich nur die zwei in der Ankündigung aufgeführten Subklassen enthalten sein werden. In diesem Bereich geht der Gewinn also an Odyssey of the Dragon Lords...
