Doomstones Campaign
The Doomstones Campaign for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay is a campaign in five parts, mainly set in a remote mountain region of the Border Princes. The plot revolves around the search for a set of four mighty magical artifacts: the Doomstones.

Publication history:
The Doomstones Campaign was originally published by Flame Publications and was split into four books with one adventure in each:

Doomstones Campaign 1 - Fire in the Mountains
Doomstones Campaign 2 - Blood in Darkness
Doomstones Campaign 3 - Death Rock
Doomstones Campaign 4 - Dwarf Wars

A final fifth part was planned but never published by Flame Publications. So the story ended in mid-air and didn't come to a conclusion.

When the campaign was re-published by Hogshead Publishing, they published two volumes with two adventures each:

Doomstones Campaign Volume 1 - Fire and Blood
Doomstones Campaign Volume 2 - Wars & Death

Finally, Hogshead produced a fifth and final adventure for the campaign:

Doomstones Campaign Volume 3 - Heart of Chaos

"The Yetzin Valley stands at the southern end of a vital pass over the Vaults Mountains. A hundred years ago, the valley was conquered by the Orcs of the Bloodaxe Alliance - theirs, however, was a brief and bloody reign, and is now all but forgotten.

A chance discovery in the mountains puts the adventurers on the trail of the Bloodaxe Alliance, retracing the last journey of the warrior-priest Torgoch. His path leads the adventurers towards the fabled Crystal of Fire...

Designed for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay adventurers, Fire in the Mountains is the first part of the Doomstones Campaign, a series of WFRP adventures set in the rugged Vaults mountains."

Later re-printed, together with Blood in Darkness, as Fire and Blood.

Follow the century-old path of a renegade Orc warchief through the foothills of the Vaults mountains, discover the relics of a mutiny and a clue which leads to an ancient dwarven shrine and a second crystal of Power. Finding the shrine is just the begining - beyond lie age-old dwarven defences, and the tunnels' modern dwellers...

Blood in Darkness mixes investigation and combat to present WFRP players with a constant challenge. It is the second part of the Doomstones Campaign following on from Fire in the Mountains.

"They're coming back! You must get to Eyrie, stop them getting the Crystal! To Eyrie…"

A hundred years on, the Ogres of the Bloodaxe Alliance once again threaten the Yetzin Valley. Their target is the great monastery of Eyrie, standing high on a pinnacle of rock above the Winter's Teeth Pass. And, a century ago, it was to Eyrie that the Dwarf-mage Yazeran fled with the fabled Crystal of Air when the Ogres first invaded the valley.

Now, the adventurers must reach the monastery and find the Crystal before the new Ogre army, driven on by its sorcerous master, attacks Eyrie. The only problem for the adventurers is solving a little puzzle that Yazeran left behind…

Aber zunächst gab es die Doomstones-Kampagne 1984 für AD&D und RuneQuest2:

THE COMPLETE DUNGEON MASTERS Series

Davon habe ich zwei Teile in den 90ern mit RuneQuest3 gespielt: Watchers of the Sacred Flame & The Feathered Priests.

Fand ich damals ganz okay.
