Klappentext:
Welcome to America at the end of the millennium. Do you know who is pulling the strings?

Delta Green knows. Things from beyond space and time that lurk and titter in the shadows, the slow rot at the core of humanity, the dark stars that whirl madly above - these are the true masters of the world. Delta Green has been fighting since the 1928 Raid on Innsmouth, and the fight still rages on.

This book is your weapon and your guide.

The largest Call of Cthulhu sourcebook ever.

Inside you'll find a secret history of the 20th century and the movers and shakers who are players in the game: Delta Green, the outlaw conspiracy working inside the U.S. government to fight the darkness; Majestic-12, the clandestine agency that cuts deals with aliens and reports to no one; SaucerWatch, a UFO study group closer to the truth than they know; the Harotechnia, immortal Nazis who serve a risen Hitler; and the Fate, an occult syndicate that knows where the bodies are buried.

Plus:
• new skills
• new spells
• new weapons
• new Mythos tomes
• profiles of thirty-six real-world intelligence and law-enforcement agencies, with character templates for each
• a look at Mi-Go biology, philosophy, and operations
• analysis of the Cthulhu Mythos in the modern day
• a factual history of the U.S. intelligence and law-enforcement community
• dozens of useful NPCs, campaign-construction guidelines
• two scenarios
• a short campaign
• and more

The book that started it all! Five years in the making, DELTA GREEN won the Origins Award for Best Roleplaying Game Supplement of 1997 and has received unanimous critical praise.

Delta Green tells the story of the Cthulhu Mythos in the modern age. Conspiracies abound, and this is one of the deadliest: Delta Green is a handful of men and women who use the resources of the government to fight a secret, illegal--some would say treasonous--war against monstrosities which threaten their world.

This is a massive 1990s sourcebook dealing with government conspiracies, alien activity, undead Nazis, and much more.

Volle Punktzahl.

Zitat
We have made ourselves into chattel, and the day of the
slaughter is upon us. As we shuffle into the abattoir, step by
herd-driven step, we see that those with the cattle-prods and
those who operate the machineries of death are not inhuman
monsters-but rather our neighbors, our friends, our
leaders, our selves.

We have done the bidding of the Great Old Ones, far
more successfully and eagerly than Wilbur Whateley or
Joseph Curwen ever did. The Mythos has destroyed us by
allowing us to destroy ourselves. Now the time is ripe. Now
the feasting may begin.

In these, the last years of the twentieth century, we may
finally glimpse the fate that awaits us within the grim slaughterhouse
of history. It is our end that we see, and that we
seek. As a species, our surrender is complete. The Mythos
has won. Now all it must do is sit back and watch as the
global zeitgeist spirals down into the abyss.

Step this way. The exit is right over here. Pick up that
gun, wave that fist, dump those chemicals. The abyss awaits,
a maw as hungry and as insatiable as that of every newborn
infant whose mere existence condemns us to a steady depletion
of resources and a devaluing of our collective worth.

Could we have been more stupid? Could we have
helped the Mythos more? Could we have done a damn thing
differently than the foolish choices we've made?
No. Our fate is told in the stars themselves. Our lives
have no meaning, our world has no hope. Nothing lies before
us but death and coleopterans. - DG, S. 10
