Ende des Monats erscheint CoC Innsmouth und soweit ich sehe gab es hierzu noch nichts im Tanelorn. The Gaming Gang stellt das Buch hier vor und es sieht ja ganz gut aus:

Hatte das auch schon wahrgenommen. Und grundsätzlich finde ich das auch gut, dass bekannte Locations (Arkham, Innsmouth, etc.) ihre Regionalbände bekommen. Umgekehrt ist's aber zumindest für mich so, dass ich die dann selten zum Vergnügen lese, sondern nur, wenn ich konkret dort spielen will. Insofern aktuell keine Kaufabsicht, auch wenn die Sonderausgabe recht schick aussieht.

Kann jemand etwas dazu sagen, ob der neue Band mehr Infos bringt als der erste Band? Oder ist es ein Update auf CoC7?

Das bald erscheinende "Innsmouth" von Chaosium (CHA 23196) ist eine neue Edition von "Escape from Innsmouth" (CHA 2338 von 1992) bzw. "Escape from Innsmouth – 2nd Edition" (CHA 2371 von 1997).

Das es fast 30 Jahren gebraucht hat um eine neue Edition zu veröffentlichen ist schade, aber es ist toll, dass Innsmouth in Kürze auch für Cthulhu 7 zu haben sein wird.

Das alte Chaosium-Buch diente nur als Grundlage und ca. 50% des neuen Buches ist Material welches nicht in der alten Edition zu finden war.
Zudem würden die in der alten Edition enthaltenen umfangreichen "Escape from Innsmouth" und "Raid on Innsmouth" anscheinend aus der neuen Edition herausgenommen und werden voraussichtlich in einem separaten Abenteuerbuch zu Innsmouth widerveröffentlicht werden.


Kingsport, Dunwich und die Miskaonic University werden ebenfalls völlig überarbeitete und erweiterte Neuauflagen bekommen.

Oh, dann freue ich mich aber, bereits die kompakte die erste, kompakte Version von Innsmouth zu besitzen.

Kingsport, Dunwich und die Miskaonic University werden ebenfalls völlig überarbeitete und erweiterte Neuauflagen bekommen.
