Lohnt sich: Wizard´s First Rule - Sword of Truth von Terry Goodkind

Faschistoid? Frauenfeindlich? Echt?
Wahrscheinlich lässt mich mal wieder mein altersschwaches Gedächtnis im Stich, weil es schon wieder ganz laaange her ist, dass ich einige der Bücher gelesen habe. Aber so kam es mir überhaupt nicht vor. Was habe ich denn verpasst?

Nun ja, ich finde das jetzt ein bisschen übertrieben. (Oder hat es mein altersschwaches Gedächtnis falsch abgespeichert? Oder habe ich nicht genug Teile gelesen?) Es gab Frauen, die viel kompetenter waren als Männer - das ist für mich irgendwie ein Widerspruch zu Frauenfeindlichkeit.
Und wo war jetzt die Verherrlichung des Faschismus? Irgendwie hatte ich das Gefühl, dass es eben gegen Unterdrückung ging, egal welcher Nation man war. (Oder lässt mich hier mein altersschwaches Gedächtnis im Stich?)

Faschistisch ist polemisch gesagt. Ich schrieb ja auch faschistoid.

Goodkind ist eben ein radikaler Libertärer (siehe auch erster Link) was er offenbar ständig durchblicken lassen muss in seinen Texten; verbunden mit den Machtphantasien und den "Führerfiguren" finde ich das sehr unappetitlich.
