In Night of the Living Dead: A Zombicide Game, players take on the role of the movie's main characters, holed up in an isolated house while the dead come to life all around them. The original movie sees the few survivors hunkering for safety in the house as the ghouls (as they're called in the film) pose a continuous threat from outside. We'll be launching a Kickstarter campaign in order to bring gamers this all-new way to experience both a classic movie and a classic board game.
This is a different kind of Zombicide.
It’s a standalone game compared to the others and is solely dedicated to recreating the classic horror film with a distinctly Zombicide twist. Players will take on the role of characters from the movie and must make their way through different scenarios and escape the zombie apocalypse. Karl Kopinski’s amazing artwork evokes the feeling of the classic movie and beautifully brings it to gamer’s tabletops.
The Kickstarter campaign for Zombicide: Night of the Living Dead will also be different from many CMON Kickstarters. It will be a faster and more streamlined campaign than usual, separate from the Zombicide: 2nd Edition Kickstarter due to licensing reasons.
Rest assured that backers of this campaign will get a nice collection of exclusive content that will not be included in the retail version, adding even more elements from the film into the game. All of these promos will be revealed and added to the pledge from the very start of the campaign. This won’t be a slow amble, but a high-speed sprint.
