Neues Posting von Jeff Richard auf BRP Central über "RuneQuest Glorantha Revised":
"Now given that Mike and I have written the revised core rules already, and our little crew includes the like of Doc, Dan Z, Tiffany Rose, Andy Cowley, and others (like the JefeCon crew and others that are very active with playing and running RQ), I can likely give you a few hints into what is there.
First it is shorter. A lot shorter. Probably about half the size of the old RQG, but with even more art.
Second, it is the first book we've really thought about how information is presented visually (not as a book to be read, but as a rules system to be used) and been willing to restructure thing so that it is clearer and more-straightforward. Rules are cleaned up, rules that didn't work in practice are either gone or optional (for those who made them work).
Third, character creation is quicker and more focused. Sartar, Prax, and New Pavis. That's the focus. Want to play something far away - use the old RQG book and get the relevant cult book. Sorcery will NOT be in the core rules. Nor will shamanism (although there is a lot more on spirits and spirit combat than before - and I've already reviewed the shamanism materials for the supplement).
Fourth, despite that you can play a duck, dark troll, dwarf, or elf from the get go.
The accompanying gamemaster book is less a collection of rules options and much more focus on What Am I Doing As A Gamemaster. It includes stuff like making adventures and campaigns, dealing with downtime, and of course, how to create and run heroquests."
Klingt nach einem guten Plan.
Und ich freue mich, dass das langerwartete GM Buch relativ schnell auf das revised GRW folgen wird.
